There’s a new phishing campaign making the rounds, and it’s targeting LastPass users. Here’s what you need to know:
The claim: Emails are circulating saying LastPass has been hacked and urging you to download a “more secure” desktop app.
The truth: LastPass has not been hacked. These emails are fake.
The source: They come from a domain called lastpassjournal.blog, which is not affiliated with LastPass.
What should you do?
Do not click any links.
Do not download any apps.
If you’re unsure, contact your IT department or someone knowledgeable before taking any action.
