There’s a new phishing campaign making the rounds, and it’s targeting LastPass users. Here’s what you need to know:

  • The claim: Emails are circulating saying LastPass has been hacked and urging you to download a “more secure” desktop app.

  • The truth: LastPass has not been hacked. These emails are fake.

  • The source: They come from a domain called lastpassjournal.blog, which is not affiliated with LastPass.

What should you do?

  • Do not click any links.

  • Do not download any apps.
