Jocelyn plays a unique role at homeIT, working between customers and technicians to keep communication smooth, supportive, and clear.
“I work between our customers and our team to get communication running smoothly!” Jocelyn explains.
Her ability to connect both sides ensures that every client not only gets the right solution, but also feels heard and respected along the way.
Why Accessibility Matters
One of Jocelyn’s biggest passions is using technology as a tool for accessibility—especially for groups often left behind by the digital world.
“Statistically, 1/3 of society belongs in the age group of 50–75 – however, there is little to no internet infrastructure created for this group of people. I firmly believe that the internet can be used as an accessibility tool for everybody. Working with homeIT brings that idea alive; we help anyone and everyone with their technology to keep them connected and creating.”
Her words reflect one of homeIT’s core values: making sure that everyone—no matter their age or experience—has the chance to feel confident and capable with technology.
A Personal Perspective
Even as a 21-year-old, Jocelyn understands the frustration that tech struggles can bring.
“Even as a 21 year old, tech struggles make up at least 75% of my daily frustration. By leveraging homeIT, members of our community can greatly decrease their mental energy that they put towards finicky tech. We can handle the myriads of issues so that they can enjoy more of their day.”
That perspective keeps her grounded in empathy for every customer, knowing that the smallest fix can make the biggest difference in someone’s quality of life.
