inPulse: Weekly Update with Leah
Catching up with our Gallery Coordinator & Administrative Generalist, Leah Harper
inPulse is an internal series that connects with team members across inWorks LLC and Longview Farm to hear about what’s fueling their work, achievements to celebrate, upcoming events to highlight, and more. This way, we stay engaged with and inspired by the voices that make up our team!
This week, we checked in with Leah!
Leah supports internal operations and client experience by maintaining SharePoint resources, coordinating onboarding, documenting processes, delegating routine tasks, and managing client onboarding, communications, branding audits, and virtual gallery initiatives.
Getting Back Into the Groove
Q: If you had to give your week a headline, what would it be?
Leah had recently picked up a position working at the marketplace within the Philadelphia Flower Show last week! In all of the fun, she was missed in some of her weekly meeting and project developments. Therefore, she finds that she spent the first half of her week reviewing her missed meetings and reorienting herself back into the INW/LVF headspace.
Year of Dreams Artists
Q: What’s a small win from this week that made a difference?
Leah’s favorite part of her role as a Gallery Coordinator is connecting with artists. This past week, she was able to meet with a prospective 2026 artist in her home studio as the lead for the first time!
This was the first time I did this kind of artist meeting on my own and I was surprised at how confident I felt in the role. It was a great experience.
Technical Language and Role Development
Q: What’s a small win from this week that made a difference?
I’ve been assisting Ricky on a cybersecurity project since the end of 2025 and I understand much more than I did a month ago. And, in general, our approach to the project feels a lot smoother than it did a month ago. Coming into an administrative role for INW means hearing a lot of technical language that I am not familiar with. There is no pressure to understand everything since my role is a supporting one, but it definitely helps my position when I notice that I’m getting the hang of certain things.
Spotlight on: Ricky!
Leah highlights Ricky as an incredible mentor. She emphasizes his patience, dedication to professional growth, and the importance of questions. She mentions that everyone at INW is aware of how great of a leader and mentor Ricky is, which is true!
If you didn’t know, Leah has an incredible bunny named Cow. Here are some photos!
