inPulse: Weekly Update with Ilya Lehrman
Our weekly team highlights are back!
inPulse is a series that connects with team members across inWorks LLC and its initiatives to hear about what’s fueling their work, achievements to celebrate, upcoming events to highlight, and more.
Staying engaged with and inspired by the voices that make up our team.
Kicking off our 2026 updates, last week we got caught up with our CEO, Ilya!
A Process That’s Starting to Hum
Q: What’s something you do now that feels smoother than it did a month ago?
For Ilya, billing has always been a part of his role that he did not particularly enjoy. However, we’re happy to report that there have been recent incremental improvements to the process that make this task feel less painful overall.
The Power of a Smooth Migration
Q: Has anything wrapped up recently that you’re proud of?
Ilya worked on an IT migration project earlier this month. He is proud of how successful the migration was (zero issues!), from planning to communications with the client. As a result, this project generated additional business for power platform development and workflow!
Speaking Up in a New Environment
Q: What’s a piece of advice you’d give to someone new joining the team?
“It's okay to feel a little lost and to ask for directions. Coming into a new environment is always overwhelming, and you should expect to take some time to get oriented - it is much easier to do that if you ask lots of questions.”
When Curiosity Meets Positive Drive
Q: Is there someone on the team you’d like to recognize or celebrate?
Ilya's shout out this week is for Jocelyn (marketing specialist)! She has been a consistent positive force to work with one-on-one as well as in a team setting. Ilya appreciates her exploratory energy and approach to new topics/technology, such as using AI as a learning enhancement tool.
Choosing Practices That Replenish
Q: What’s something outside of work that’s been quietly fueling your creativity?
We all need to find things to fuel our souls. For Ilya, rediscovering his love of playing music has been a recent development.
“I've picked up guitar again and started looking at some music production tools that I used to play with, back when I had spare time. I've also decided to get back to glass fusion.”
Additionally, Ilya has been doing a weekly 24 to 36-hour broth-based fast that he calls “Brothday" for 40 weeks now. This functions as a nice reset for his mind and body. He even started a "fasting primer" book on history, culture, benefits, and pitfalls of fasting, with help from AI.
