Featured Team Member: Aaron Brown
Role: Environmental Projects Manager & IT Technician
inPulse, our weekly spotlight series, is all about connecting with team members across inWorks LLC—sharing what’s fueling their work, celebrating achievements, and highlighting upcoming events or shoutouts. It’s a relaxed, story-driven way to stay engaged and inspired by the voices that make our team thrive.
This week, we’re sitting down with
, our Environmental Projects Manager and resident mycologist, to find out what’s been meaningful lately, how his role has evolved, and who deserves a shoutout.“My roles include land management through invasive species removal, documentation of plants, animals and fungi on the property, upkeep of buildings and grounds, content creation for our social media accounts, and development of IT solutions for public outreach initiatives.”
Recent Achievements
We asked Aaron if there is a specific project or projects that wrapped up recently that he is proud of. Whether it’s working on a promotional video, capturing drone footage, marking the wooded trails, or providing IT support, he is proud of all his recent activities for LVF and inWorks LLC.
“At inWorks and Longview Farm, there is a unique culture where everyone encourages the growth of all team members.”
The Week’s Win: Professional Growth
Small wins or big wins - they are all wins at the end of the day.
Last week, Aaron independently handled IT support for several clients, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills. With Ricky Eller’s continued mentorship, he has moved beyond his comfort zone and significantly advanced his capabilities as an IT technician!
Then to Now: Role Transformation
Being on a small team for a relatively new company means the employees get to wear various hats.
Aaron began his career at LVF as an Environmental Projects Manager, focusing on land use and conservation initiatives. With his support, the woods on the property have been transformed - there are now clear walking paths, a trail guide, and more.
Over time, Aaron’s responsibilities expanded to include creating informational content for Longview Farm’s TikTok, photography, videography, and most recently, taking on the role of IT technician.
Spotlight on Team Excellence
Aaron extends his gratitude to Ricky Eller for providing unwavering support and mentorship throughout his roles at Longview Farm and inWorks.
“Ricky has a very special gift for conveying information in an easily digestible manner. He is always patient, kind, and thoughtful. A true leader!”
